New Selfish Gene Album

The Selfish Gene were founded a long time ago in a small town in Israel. Today they have reunited for one album and two shows.

The album is constructed of they're previous works throughout the years, starting from recordings in Israel back in 1995 throughout recordings in London (1996-2000) and including a brand new song named 'Daylight Savings' recorded earlier this year.

The band had influences on the alternative rock scene in the 90's in Israel, and has been named, various times, as the most promising band to come out of Israel. Though, do to some bad luck and alot of wear and tear, they split in 2000 and haven't preformed or recorded since.

The new album has 19 songs (all in english) and a bonus CD with 10 songs to download on their website.

The band is opening Blonde Redhead's tour in Israel with a 30 minute show on the 4th of August at the Barby Tel Aviv, followed by a full evening on the 8th of August at the Barby Tel Aviv celebrating their new CD.

Purchase their CD online here.
